Our advanced QMJ Series Chocolate Ball Mill is engineered for high-volume, efficient production of premium chocolate masses, compounds, spreads, nut pastes, and filling creams. Designed for both large manufacturers and specialized processors, its one-pass continuous operation sets a new standard for grinding efficiency and product quality.
The ball mill refines chocolate and related masses through intense impact and friction. Raw material is fed into a vertical cylinder containing high-grade bearing steel balls. As the cylinder rotates, the cascading balls collide with the material and each other, progressively grinding particles down to the target micron fineness (18-22 microns). This mechanical action achieves superior homogenization and smoothness.

1. One-Pass Continuous Efficiency:
Eliminates the need for material recirculation between refining stages (unlike traditional conches or circulated ball mills), significantly boosting throughput (500-1500 kg/h) and slashing energy and labor costs.
2. Precision Temperature Control:
Features a hollow main shaft with integrated cooling water circulation. This critical system maintains optimal grinding temperatures, preventing fat bloom and preserving flavor integrity for superior chocolate quality.
3. Versatile Production:
Capable of handling diverse products – chocolate masses, cocoa masses, creams, and nut pastes – making it ideal for chocolate makers, cocoa processors, and bakery ingredient suppliers.
4. Scalable Capacity:
Models available from 500 kg/h to 1500 kg/h, catering to varying production scales, from growing businesses to large industrial facilities.
5. Optimized Design:
Includes level sensors on the buffer tank for uninterrupted continuous operation and specialized rods on the shaft design to prevent material leakage.
6. High-Intensity Grinding:
Utilizes durable bearing steel balls engineered for maximum grinding impact and longevity.
7. Superior Fineness:
Consistently achieves a fine particle size of 18-22 microns, essential for smooth mouthfeel.

Pre-Refining: The continuous one-pass ball mill requires a pre-refiner to achieve an initial fineness of 50-70 microns before feeding.
Cooling System: Requires an external cooling water system (available from us or locally sourced).
Fat Content: Raw materials must contain at least 30% fat for optimal refining.
Functionality vs. Conche: While a conche refiner combines mixing, refining, and conching, the ball mill focuses solely on high-efficiency grinding. For pure chocolate production, it typically pairs with a conching machine downstream.
Reliability: We maintain a comprehensive spare parts inventory for rapid global shipment (typically 3-7 days delivery).
Delivery: Standard delivery time is 60-90 days after receipt of advance payment and confirmed technical parameters.
